Board Game Publisher Devir Halts Sales of Ace of Spades Following Backlash Over Racist Artwork
Board game publisher Devir announced it is halting sales for its game Ace of Spades following backlash against racially insensitive card artwork. The cards in question include one featuring a white man called Slaver who has a whip coiling around him, and another card featuring a black man called Fugitive who is shirtless, seemingly foaming or drooling from the mouth, and holding chains.
