Entirety of Grand Blue Dreaming’s Second Season Leaks Online

Yesterday, all twelve episodes from the second season of Grand Blue Dreaming leaked online via torrenting sites. The leaks are in 480p without subtitles. Currently, only the first episode of the second season has been officially released, premiering on Japanese television and Crunchyroll this Monday, with new episodes airing weekly.

In related news, the last of the leaked episodes confirms that a third season of the show is on the way. The first season came out in 2018, and the second wasn’t announced until 2024. The anime is an adaptation of Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka’s manga of the same name, which has run in Good! Afternoon magazine since 2014, and has been collected into 24 volumes.

This Grand Blue Dreaming leak is likely the largest since last year’s Netflix breach, where all of Terminator Zero, several episodes of Dandadan and Ranma ½, one episode of Re: Zero Season 3, and Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain were posted early online. In Grand Blue Dreaming’s case, one of the most surprising elements is that the entire season was already completed ahead of time, as it’s common for anime studios to be working on later episodes of a series even as it’s airing. When these leaks occur, it typically happens after an anime studio sends its show to the streaming services and stations that air it.

Grand Blue Dreaming is a slice-of-life comedy that follows Iori Kitahara, a college freshman who joins the Diving Club. However, he soon finds that the club is largely made up of gregarious buff guys who spend most of their time drinking and partying. Antics ensue, and a lot of beer is chugged.
