The Next Six One Indie Showcase Is Coming On September 18, Will Feature 47 Games In 72 Minutes

The publication Six One Indie has announced that their next showcase will be streamed on September 18. Running at an exact 72 minutes, the event will feature 47 games over its runtime.

The event will begin with a 10-minute pre-show, titled Petey’s Play Now Pre-Show, that aims to highlight seven overlooked games from this year. The following main showcase will include world premieres and exclusive looks at 40 upcoming games. Once the showcase ends, a weekend-long Steam event will run with demos, discounted games, and titles to be wishlisted from over 150 additional developers and publishers.

A few notables from the announcement is the world premiere of a new game from Umurangi Generation developer ORIGAME DIGITAL, gameplay reveal for Lil Gator Game: In the Dark, and new looks at future titles from Grandma, No! publisher Super Rare Originals and Fear The Spotlight publisher Blumhouse Games. Interested viewers can see all this on September 18th, starting at 11:50 a.m. ET/8:50 a.m. PT, through YouTube and Twitch

Six One Indie has been running showcases since 2022, with this upcoming event marking its seventh “zero-barriers” show. Over that time, the grassroots collective has featured over 200 games ranging from smaller passion projects to international studio debuts. Last May’s showcase featured titles like Jump The Track, Hotel Barcelona, Dinoblade, and Petal Runner, and saw nearly 1 million views “across co-streams, influencer reactions, and trailer breakouts.”

The event has become an exciting watch for anyone interested in the full depth and range of the gaming world, as the group has largely succeeded in its stated goal of “supporting developers, amplifying their voices, and helping bring overlooked games to players everywhere.” Overall, just be prepared for your wishlist to grow after seeing what cool stuff is coming on September 18.
