This year’s SGDQ drew over 2,600 in-person attendees and also featured their first ever artist alley, with art and crafts for sale and game developers showing off their latest work. They host events year-round, including the annual Awesome Games Done Quick, which will be returning in January 2026 to Pittsburgh and raising funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. In the meantime, Games Done Quick’s next upcoming event is Flames Fatales, an all-women and femmes speedrunning showcase which will be hosted on Twitch the week of September 7. Following that will be the online event Games Done Queer, running on Halloween weekend.
