OKU

Oku is an atmospheric adventure game about a monk traveling through Japanese landscapes and writing poems. It has a demo on Steam. 

COLORBOUND

Panpipe Studio’s Colorbound is a bouncy puzzle platformer about color and music. 

CHOP CHOP

This one’s a tabletop game! Created by Brian Oh, Chop Chop is a 2-5 player card game about completing orders and sabotaging your fellow line cooks. It comes out Fall 2025.

CRISTOL: THEATER OF IDOLS

Vermila Studios’s Cristol: Theater of Idols, published by Blumhouse Games, is a first-person horror game where you use blood as a weapon. 

BROOMSTICK EXORCIST

Halloweeny beat ‘em up Broomstick Exorcist will have a demo at the October 2025 Steam Next Fest.

ONIRIA

Frog Team’s Oniria is a Spanish first-person horror game that currently has a free demo.

ABASHED

Abashed is a psychological puzzle game where you bend reality. It comes out in the first quarter of 2026 and has a free demo.

DICEALOT

Brought to you by Good View Games and Yogscast Games, Dicealot is a medieval dice-builder based on Farkle. It has a demo out now and will be released by the end of the year.

RECUR

Recur is a puzzle game that has you bending time to avoid the apocalypse. 

DESKTOP EXPLORER

In this simulation game from Recurring Dream and Outersloth, solve puzzles and conduct an investigation through an old PC. Desktop Explorer is coming out mid 2026.

PIGEON: A LOVE STORY

In Pigeon: A Love Story, you play as a pigeon flying over to-scale models of major pigeon cities like London and New York in search of your soulmate. However, there are a whole lot of pigeons, and just one of you.

HERMIT AND PIG

Hermit and Pig is an endearing RPG about a recluse and his truffle pig. It launches January 22, 2026.

MOLDWASHER

In Moldwasher, you play as a little sushi roll tasked with power washing grimy household objects.

SHEEPHERDS!

In this co-op party game, you and your friends are shepherd dogs guiding colorful sheep to collect their wool. Sheepherds! will be coming this year.

GECKO GODS

Gecko Gods is a beautiful adventure game about a gecko on a series of islands. It will be released this fall, with a demo out now.

PERFECT TIDES: STATION TO STATION

Point-and-click adventure game Perfect Tides: Station to Station follows 18-year-old writer Mara on her journey through the big city. The Perfect Tides sequel will be available January 22, 2026, and there’s a demo currently available.

NO STRAIGHT ROADS 2

The sequel to the action-adventure game No Straight Roads is now in development. 

GLOOMY JUNCTURE

This point-and-click psychological thriller features paper-cutout art set on a neo-noir backdrop. Gloomy Juncture has a demo on Steam.

PENGUIN COLONY

From the developers of Umurangi Generation, Penguin Colony is a gloomy adventure game based on a Lovecraft story where you play as various penguins.

CHILDREN OF SATURN

Children of Saturn is a found footage experience about teens growing up amidst rampant wildfires. The demo is available now.

A HEAVY MORNING

This somber visual novel is about struggling against depression, with your goal being to simply get out of bed. 

ENGRAVING

Engraving is a horror game where you’re trapped in a forest that’s constantly shifting around you. Your only tool to find a way out is a map you draw yourself. 

GIGASWORD

Jack Breen’s Gigasword, the platformer where your ginormous sword weighs you down, is coming out on October 2, 2025. The demo is out now.

UNDERMIRE

Undermire is a first-person adventure game where you fight spooky enemies in a world reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons. 

NOCTURNAL 2

The sequel to fiery action-platformer Nocturnal will launch by the end of the year.

GODSTV

In a world where gods make television, climb to stardom through combat. Melbot’s GodsTV has a demo available now.

FALLEN FATES

Fallen Fates is a 2D action adventure game in a fantastical setting.

NANUKA: SECRET OF THE SHATTERING MOON

Outofthebit’s Nanuka: Secret of the Shattering Moon is a 2D action-platformer where you play as a martial artist trying to save the world. The demo is out now.

ANGELINE ERA

Angeline Era is a 3D action-adventure game with a free demo currently available.

SCRABDACKLE

Play as a novice wizard in the whimsical adventure game Scrabdackle, from Jakefriend and Fellow Traveller. Scrabdackle has a demo out now, with Act One coming out this year.

LIL GATOR GAME: IN THE DARK

MegaWobble and Playtonic’s Lil Gator Game: In the Dark is an adorable adventure game set on a lively island. The game will be released in early 2026, and you can play the demo today.

LOU’S LAGOON

Fly a seaplane and explore the Limbo Archipelago in Lou’s Lagoon, a 3d adventure game that will have you searching for your missing uncle Lou.

MAP MAP – A GAME ABOUT MAPS

In this game, you’ll be making—you guessed it—maps, as you embark on a treasure hunt across a series of islands. Map Map comes out in 2026, with a demo available now.

CITY OF DOLOROSA

City of Dolorosa is a first-person adventure game where you explore Hell, rendered in the style of traditional tattoo artistry. The game has a free demo and is slated to come out in 2026.
