The Thrilling First Trailer for Underworld Ascendant Has Arrived

The first full trailer for Warren Spector’s Underworld Ascendant has finally arrived, courtesy of 505 Games and OtherSide Entertainment.

In the latest installment in the celebrated Ultima Underworld series, the trailer showcases the game’s signature immersive simulation as players roam through The Stygian Abyss, encountering new dangers and intrigue. Gamers can maximize their gameplay experience through a journey filled with the unfamiliar, tapping into their creative potential as they shape the story.

The forthcoming game brings the team of Spector and Paul Neurath back together, 25 years after Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds. The two are joined by writer and director Joe Fielder (BioShock Infinite), and designer Tim Stellmach (System Shock), as they are updating the game’s immersive sim experience.

The game will be available for PC sometime in 2018. Fans of the original games can go on Steam and the official website to add it to their wishlist.
