Nidhogg 2 Is On Its Way with Goofy Characters and New Weapons
Images via MesshofNidhogg was one of the best games of 2014, a bizarre, fencing tug-of-war where the winner earned the right to be eaten by a giant worm, and now it’s getting a sequel.
Nidhogg 2’s most noticable difference from its predecessor is its new art style. Instead of blocky Atari-like characters and environments, Nidhogg 2 has 10 new detailed levels and goofy character designs that add a bit of levity to the whole “duel to the death and sacrifice yourself to a worm-god” thing. Single player is back, along with online and local multiplayer. The soundtrack will also feature new music from Mux Mool, Dose One, Daedelus and more.
