Fixes Incoming for Pokémon GO‘s Massive Battery Usage Problems and Other Glitches
Image via The Pokemon CompanyPokémon GO developer Niantic has shared a post detailing the most common complaints and bugs and known fixes until a patch arrives. Among these problems is the absurd amount of battery that Pokémon GO uses.
“Some devices may experience battery drain while playing Pokémon GO for prolonged periods of time. We are working on a solution,” Niantic wrote. Until such a time arrives, external phone battery sellers are probably quite pleased right now.
Some players have reported that PokéCoins and other purchased items won’t appear in their account. Niantic suggests signing out and then back in. If that doesn’t work, they suggest turning the phone on and off.
On Android devices, if your phone loses connection while making a purchase, you may receive an error message stating, “You already own this item.” Simply power your phone off and on to fix this.
