The PlayStation 30 Year Anniversary festivities continue with even more new merchandise, and I fear this newest line is irresistible. Sony just announced they are collaborating with Reebok to make sneakers inspired by the original PlayStation console, and the designs aren’t just thoughtfully made; they’re utterly gorgeous (I’m a size eight, by the way. Just saying).
The collab includes three designs, paying homage to the original PlayStation launch regions: the Pump Omni Zone II will be sold in the U.S., the InstaPump Fury 94 in Japan, and the Workout Plus in the United Kingdom. The shoe silhouettes are rendered in gray and beige after the original PlayStation console, with themed charms and custom lace options, and will come in limited edition packaging.
In terms of release dates, the Pump Omni Zone II will be available at CNCPTS starting October 17, the InstaPump Fury 94 will be sold at Beams from October 24, and the Workout Plus sneakers will come out October 15 at END. There will also be Stacking Boxes that bundle all three styles available in limited quantities, with purchasing details to be announced.
This isn’t the first line of Sony kicks; previously they released PlayStation 5 Nikes and Spider-Man 2 Adidases. However, the Reebok anniversary collection is an exciting first for Sony in the sense that these ones aren’t ugly.
In addition to the Reebok collaboration announcement, Sony is also launching a large-format photography book titled PlayStation: The First 30 Years. The book will contain 400 pages of prototypes, concept sketches, and design models from the original PlayStation hardware through to current development. The Standard Edition retails at $125 and the Deluxe Edition is $325; the book comes out in spring 2026 and is currently available for preorder.
