The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have announced the nominees for the 2017 British Academy Game Awards. Uncharted 4 and Inside lead with eight and seven nominations, respectively.
If last week’s GDC awards are any indication, Overwatch seems likely to win in at least one of its five BAFTA-nominated categories, as the game was awarded both Game of the Year and Best Design. In the performer category alone, Uncharted 4 takes up half of the six nominations with Emily Rose, Nolan North and Troy Baker all acknowledged for their turns in the game. Inside leads with the most nominations in the most categories, so its odds of winning are highest overall.
Campo Santo’s Firewatch boasts six nominations, while The Witness and The Last Guardian each earned four. The winners will be announced at the ceremony at Tobacco Dock in London on April 6. To see all of this year’s nominees, check out the full list below.
