Telltale Confirms Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two Release Date

Five all new episodes of Telltale’s choice-based adaptation of Minecraft are coming this summer. The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two hits Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, Android and iOS on July 11.

Jesse and friends have overcome the Wither storm and their lives as heroes are just beginning. They all have more responsibilities and less time to go out and adventure, so friendships are fading and relationships are ending. Well, so they thought. Jesse’s hand gets stuck in a gauntlet that calls the whole gang on another adventure.

Season Two will also feature the voice talents of Patton Oswalt, Catherine Taber, Ashley Johnson and Scott Porter, as well as Stampy Cat, stacyplays and other YouTube personalities.

Choices from season one will carry over, but if you’re new, you won’t have a problem. This season will also include Telltale’s new Crowd Play feature, which allow friends to play along with you by voting on choices with their phones.
